Have you ever thought of who decides you did something perfect? Or who made the criteria of perfection?
This episode breaks down those question as well as more.
You learned in Episode 61: Confessions of a Recovering Perfectionist that I have done a lot of work to change my ways. This episode is me figuring out more and pushing my understanding of perfectionism to a higher level.
This episode was inspired by an episode of Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown podcast with Michael Singer. I can’t recommend that episode enough. Check it out after you listen to this episode of course.

Having clarity sounds like a hippie dippie trippie phrase but in actuality it is something we are all searching for at different times of our lives. Clarity allows us to move forward and focus on what we truly want. Clarity doesn’t need to be something that is only achieved through hours of meditation or expensive trendy retreats. There are many ways to get clarity. Listen in as I talk about my journey to clarity and helpful activities I have used.
I can’t let this episode go by without celebrating the fact that it is my 50th episode! Woot! Woot! Can’t wait to see where the next 50 take me!

In this episode, I reflect on how failure can teach us things and actually propel us forward.

“If the voices in our heads control the way we walk through life, then we need to train them to say yes to the life we want and no to the life we don’t.” - Jess Ekstrom from her book Chasing the Bright Side.

This episode discusses getting stuck in a victim (Fixed Mindset) and exercises/strategies to move to a healing (Growth Mindset).

“Work Life Balance is not an entitlement or benefit. Your company cannot give it to you. You have to create it for yourself. “ - Matthew Kelly, Author
I’ve recently come to terms with the fact that all of the plans that I put in place a year ago when I started my life coaching business did not happen. Ok ... that may be an overstatement but you know what I mean. A very hard pill to swallow! This has brought up feelings of anger and shame. Upon deep reflection, a meaningful mindset shift happened.
In this episode, I talk about this mindset shift and where it takes me first - Work Life Balance. As I have identified in the last 2 episodes on burnout, work stress and poor boundaries have been a major issue for me. Listen to in hear some strategies on how to create a better Work Life Balance and a sneak peek on the next episode.

Wishing everyone good health, positive mindsets, and sunny days!
Before I get into the episode info, I first wanted to say hello and I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I am thinking about you all and I am so blessed that I have the ability to connect with you at this time. Sending out positive vibes to you all and wishing you all the best now and in the coming months. Please reach out if there is anything that I can do to support you.
This episode was planned prior to all of this COVID chaos but it is so timely. Hubby Michael returns to the mic to help me discuss parenting in this day. We share our journey to parenthood and the challenges we faced and the decisions we made. Together, we share our suggestions on staying true to your needs as a person and not carrying the guilt that can come along with taking care of your own needs. As the saying goes, you can't pour from an empty cup. Your family needs you to be a happy and fulfilled person for them to learn, grow and be happy.
Check out the Finding Myself Podcast FB page for more information and suggestion on how to find yourself and grow during these crazy times. I am offering free content and zoom call meetups during April 2020.
