His DJ journey Started in Auckland, where he co-founded Hacienda New Zealand, an event series dedicated to growing the local techno scene and paying tribute to the legendary Hacienda raves of Manchester in the '80s and '90s. Manija is taking Mallorca’s nightlife by storm and sharing his sound through "Balearic Sessions", a monthly show that captures the essence of his Mediterranean Journey. His style moves between trance and techno, blending touching melodies with a driving rumble and heavy drums. His sets are immersive journeys where listeners get lost in his storytelling.

His influences include Sven Väth, Emmanuel Top & Chris Liebing. His sound has also been shaped by the DJs who played at the legendary club U60311 in Frankfurt-am-Main. After some years away from the scene he has been actively back on the decks since 2020. He makes tracks in collaboration with Denis Nocken and they have published a track every month since April 2024. DJ for 25 years.
 He began his career playing Psytrance and Hard Trance. In 2021 he moved on to Peak Time / Driving Techno, Hard Techno and Melodic Techno. 
In 2021 he became a resident DJ at Profoundradio.com in the UK with a regular fortnightly show called ‘Trance Meets Techno’. In Japan, he has also been DJing with ‘Re Vibe’ since 2024.

He normally plays hardstyle, a fusion of techno, new beat and hardcore, which is popular in Italy, the Netherlands and Belgium. But for us, he plays dark, peak time techno. She sits on the dark/industrial side of the techno landscape and coming from rock and metal roots, she approached electronic music from a different angle. Her exploration of industrial, dark, goth, & EBM broadened her musical viewpoint and influenced her taste and creativity. She loves strong four on the floor beats with aggressive, hypnotic grooves and little or no melody. The set you’re about to hear was created live for A Darker Wave in an improvised session.

Originally from Austin, Texas he’s known for his explosive DJ sets and turntable-style trickery. The guest mix in the second hour is by Alpha-0, a brand new and exciting DJ duo comprising UK based DJs Moza and Mayren who came together to represent the freshest sounds in Hard Dance and Techno, through their love for mixing and their passion for dance music. Although Trance remains their primary genre as solo artists, the pair's love for newer and harder edged sounds led to the creation of Alpha-0 in 2024. Their sound is relentless with a dark underground style and bpm’s in excess of 150.

He learnt how to DJ in the late 90’s on vinyl and for many years played an active part in the techno scene until the demands of his professional career took him away from music. He returned to the decks in 2020 and his style is Peak Time and Acid Techno. His latest track, a collab with Dennis Nocken, was released by Red Channel Records in 2023 and you can hear it at the end of his set.
